A photo of me wearing a Kimono

Trying to Blend in: After the paper museum Ritsuko's brother took me to his in-laws who live just outside Gifu city. His mother-in-law's job is a Kimono dresser for weddings. Kimono are so difficult to put on that it requires someone to dress you in it.

After having dinner (we had steak, which is expensive in Japan). Ritsuko's brother's mother-in-law said she had a Kimono in her collection that might fit me. Before dressing me in the Kimono she tied some folded up towels to me to make it look like I had more weight on!

After dressing up I went and sat in a part the house that is decorated in the traditional way for the photo above.
