I Should have worn warmer clothes!: We walked around the old down town area and I realised that my clothing was not warm enough for these conditions also it would have better if it was water proof.
As we took shelter from the snow under a veranda of a temple enjoying the view of pagoda (see above photo) a Filipino lady walked up to me and said "you're from Australia aren't you". We had a bit of a chat and turned out she lives in Bunbury (a small city about 150km to the south of my home city, Perth). She was in Tokyo visiting her brother who works there.
