Day 20 - 16/01/1998: Stuck in Kobayashi!: We had to spend another two days in Kobayashi and there wasn't much to do there. The town had suddenly become very quiet after all of the people who came there for the New Year or Adults day holidays left, the population seemed to shrink dramatically overnight.
We decided to take a walk and the weather was better (see the above photo) than the usual dull overcast weather we had been experiencing for most the trip.
