Day 24 - 20/01/1998: A Driver's View: In the morning Ritsuko and I had to baby sit her niece for five hours, this basically meant sitting through five hours of Japanese children's television! After Ritsuko's sister-in-law and nephew came back home we had lunch together then they all sent us off to the train station.
After a few stations we had move to the back carriage because the front two carriages were going to separate and go to a different destination, but the back carriage was going to Kobayashi. In the above photo you can see what it looks like from the driver's cabin of the train, the photo is of the back cabin that's why there's no driver in there.
