Snow on Kirishima: When we arrived back in Kobayashi I was thrilled to see that finally snow had come to Kirishima. In the evening of day 2 when I first went to Kobayashi it was raining, I was told that there had been snow on Kirishima just before, but unfortunately the rain had washed the snow away. Every morning in Kobayashi when I woke up I looked outside towards Kirishima hoping to see snow, however it was not until almost the end of the trip that we saw some snow on Kirishima.
Unfortunately the above photo is the only photo I took of Kirishima with snow on it and it's difficult to make out the snow.
