Who the Hell is Mr. Magic and What's So Magic About Him Anyway?

Steve "Mr. Magic" Carfino, not to be confused by the good American basketball player of the same nickname, is a commentator on Australia's National Basketball League (NBL) for Rupert Murdoch's own pay-tv channel, Foxtel. He played for Sydney some years ago, and apparently didn't completely suck. His greatest claim to fame is training with B.J. Armstrong, leading to his classic quote, "B.J. was incredibly disciplined. He took 20 shots a day." Steve Carfino took 40 shots a game, but evidentally didn't practice.

Why Write an Article About His Commentary?

Some of His Retarded Claims

In the interests of brevity, we've decided to summarise his retarded claims in point form. Police and other investigative agencies may be interested in the first one.

With award winning advice like this, he should really regulate both the NBL and social work:

We think Steve Carfino has some issues to work through.
