Coaching
All Thornlie coaches are qualified and have been
accredited by Bowls WA.
Coaching is always available to individual members on request. The coaching
panel is always available and happy to help or advise on bowling problems.
Coaching classes for new bowlers are mainly run during spring and autumn. The
Club runs new members recruitment drives, normally in May and August, followed
by "open days" and then a five week coaching school for those interested.
The Club also encourages local schools to come and try lawn bowls and three
schools
have recently taken up the offer. A Lumin Christie College year 11 class
attended
for a full term (see below)
